if you could get it to Mcdonough my DH could swing by the TSC and pick it up for Papa, my DH goes there several times a week as long as Cliff is ok with that arrangement, and Papa could pay with paypal, and least it would be closer to you Papa, unless a day trip is in your futureEast of Atlanta close to Covington ga

wow, I'm in Cedartown. Only 7 miles to the Alabama state line. @katsdar , thanks for trying to put it together! That's just not going to work out for me though. Good luck selling Blue RooEast of Atlanta close to Covington ga
LOL! I do the same thing. I'm always pointing out things that would make a great brooder or coop. As for your Silkie mama, I've had chicks raised by one of our Silkie hens and a BO together. The mamas would puff up and fuss at first but I just crawled right in the brooder area of our coop with scrambled egg for mama's and chicks many, many times and the mama's let me after a few times without fuss. I figured they saw that I was giving them all something good so they warmed up to me.So what is wrong with me?! I can't even go to the store without thinking EVERYTHING would make a good chicken brooder, tractor, or carrier!
Would make a great brooder on wheels with some modifying!
Just think of the possibilities! Cut a little hole in the bottom, put on a roof, modify the bottom and put a ramp in and wire all about to the ground and you have a great tractor!
Put boards across the front and back to hold in the wood chips, replace the glass with screening and add a light!
Maybe my DH was right, and I do have something wrong with me!
yeah, you can browse the 'free' part of craigslist and do the same thing.....and not have to leave your chair! Now if I could just find someone close enough to me giving away a shopping cart and a book case, that portable brooder would be MINELOL! I do the same thing.
