Wow who is this so we don't do business with him.Hi everyone. I'm in quite the fury right now. If you remember my posting a while ago about the breeder not giving me the Swedish Flower pullet I paid for, that he had given me a Jersey Giant instead. Well guess what? HE GAVE ME TWO ROOSTERS. So I emailed, saying not only did I pay for the SF, but the one that needed to be a pullet, wasn't. I am pretty upset. He messages back that he'll give me my money back( not the amount I paid, but 2 dollars less), but he never guaranteed me a pullet. He just included one that "looked" like a pullet "out of kindness". That right there just infuriates me! He never once said any of that, and I told him he could read back on our messages and see that for himself. If he had just apologized, and offered to take it, I would be cool with that. To go on the defense, without even checking back to see what we had agreed on, is ludacris! So sorry I didn't buy a dozen expensive Orpingtons, but I count too! So many times I had to chase him down for my chicks, I wasn't important enough to communicate with.
I am so bummed by this experience. I understand mistakes happen, and I was very forgiving about the SF mix-up, but this attitude from him is really too much.
On a positive note, my barred rock was used for a boot commercial this week! The photographer had her from noon to 5:30, and she was an angel! She was happy just being held by the models.
I feel for you. I don't have any use at all for someone who knowingly misrepresents what they're selling. I don't care what it is. I've stopped reading the ameraucana ads on craigslist because 99% of them are really easter eggers.......Hi everyone. I'm in quite the fury right now. We went out for Mexican and a movie!![]()
Wellllll let's just say maybe the ointment is okay for short-term moisture..
As it stands I came home to a very lively, but 97% glued-together, Brahma chick.![]()
Its top eyelid was glued to its wingtip.. Its bottom eyelid to its toe. Its neck, once freed from the toe/wing trap, was glued into a downward position.
In short, after a delicate procedure involving tweezers, a rag with hot water, tiny scissors and wet qtips, we have this:
I didn't want to dump it out of its shell so I wrapped it back up in the wet rag and it can kick itself free when ready. At least it's not glued together anymore but I think I wore it out.![]()
