Working some possible leads and options ... trying to avoid the full trip. Between time (awfully long time to be gone when there is so much to be done at the farm each day), gas money, and a back that isn't fond of sitting for too long ... may not have a choice, though. I'll keep y'all posted.

oh I fully understand each and every one of those reasons, but sometimes (and it sounds like maybe you need it) a day away can be a good thing. and you know as well as I do, it doesn't matter what you accomplish at the place today, there's ALWAYS something needs to be done
 
Sold six pullets this AM to a repeat customer.. :clap

Have LOTS of free cockerels now. And chicks for less than $1 each if you'll take all of them! :lau
