Thank you! Had a wonderful, peaceful Birthday and I thank the Lord for blessing me to see another year.
After I picked up the 2016 tag decal, I got an oil changed. Then I went to the mall a, did a little shopping for some new clothes. Got my cocktail "Hennessey" a few cocktails later, my hubby was home from work and we went to Texas Roadhouse for some nice juicy steaks! I'd say "the night then ended well"! I woke up this morning feeling on top of the world, LOL:)

Papa, you have a wonderful coop. So nice and tidy, too!

I'm sorry about the dog that was lost. I've lost so many and I cry for months afterwards. I personally believe dogs are God's special gifts to man. Dog spelled backward is GOD. I believe they are a reflection of God's unconditional love for man. Anyway, I hurt for you.

Happy late birthday! My son's birthday was the 13th. Yes, he was born on a Friday! Best luck I ever had!

Been busy with renters. One group after another! This week, group coming in Wed and leaving Sat AM, next group comes Sat PM! It's so much fast work trying to flip the house in a few hours! All the laundry, beds, kitchen, baths, etc.! Ugh!

Have chicks for sale! Have 3 Crested Cream Legbar cockerels, silkie mixes, one Swedish Flower, and some EEs.

My Lavender Ameraucanas should hatch next week! Hope I get at least one male and 3/4 females for myself! Will sell the others. Anyone interested?

Off to farmers market this afternoon to sell eggs and chicks!

hmmmm, lavender ameraucanas.......hmmmmm..........so if you somehow DON'T get a male, would you be interested in trading a lavendar hen for a blue rooster????? I seem to have a couple 'extra' roosters.......and you know, the rooster crows, but the hen produces.......

Question? How to give my chickens watermelon? I just cut a nice slice, now in freezer for the 4 of them, should I take the seeds out and is necessary to cut it in chunks?

don't worry about the seeds, cut it in chunks yes, leave it on the rind, they'll pretty much eat it all. we usually put the rind in the freezer and take out several chunks at a time for them. Get ready to be swarmed after you do this, LOL they'll love it...once they figure it out
