I believe he has just been working a lot. I called the other day and they said everything is fine, just been busy.

Did you guys get a letter from the GA dept of Agriculture about the Avian Influenza? They said "until further notice, move all poultry with outside access into housing immediately."

Take a look at the envelope my letter came in! LOL! They got my name right!

Looks like it's the same precaution they have been requesting since the tenth of this month. Phew! I was hoping it wasn't some new problems or an outbreak confirmed close to home. Nothing new to see here, apparently. Moving on.

No, nothing reported in GA. But, they warn about migratory birds or people visiting from the states that do have the AI.

This is what they did to those who lost their flocks!!! They send you paperwork then request info and more info and then they come out and inspect your birds and make a decision. I read a news story about it. I hope it does not happen to you.
