That's because you post mean hateful dirty inappropriate things that the mods have to delete before kids and Christians read them.

I haven't had alligator meat in years! That is some good stuff!
Well I might have some gator meat to share IF I find a place to actually kill one. I may be forced to hunt.... dare I say it.... PUBLIC property. ugh.

So, in working on the coop today with my grandad (who has kind of taken charge of the job, and that's okay) he proceeds to tell me about raising chickens when he was younger. I knew we always had some chickens around; however, not to this extent. Come to find out in the 40s and 50s they had a house with over 200 layers. He told me they sold to almost all of the grocery stores in the surrounding area. He also told me he was licensed to candle during that time, and he would have to inspect all of the eggs.

Thanks for not adding any pressure to my new adventure Grandaddy...

That's really awesome. Makes me wish I had been able to spend more time with both of my grandparents. People with a colorful history are the best.

These are my first babies from under a broody hen. They are so adorable running around with all the other girls! They were a little short to reach the waterer, so I "built" them some steps!!!

That is too cute! I'm with PapaChaz, they'll be kicking stuff up there in no time! After trying to calibrate our incubator for a few weeks now with no success, I think we are just going to go for a broody until we can snag a Brinsea.

LL RIGHT PEOPLE this is my last desperate attempt, and I need your guys help!

I have a lab mix that I found on the side of the road, I found her a home as puppy, but she was returned to us a few months later with a TON of issues. I've had her for 4 months now, and my landlord says we have too many animals, and that she needs to go... Any takers? She needs to be gone in a month.
