This is the rent from my 4 girls. They started laying June 1st, then each subsequently thereafter. I have given 2 dozens away and cooked 1 dozen. So far a total of about 6 dozens in the past 6 weeks. I'm so proud of them, as this is my first time raising chickens!

So proud of your girls!!!!! That's the best feeling.

We also have a *major* loose/stray dog problem around here too though. If you pay attention you'll notice people who walk a lot in/around town carry large sticks. Didn't take me long to figure out they're not walking sticks.

NO NO NO. You can be charged with cruelty to animals for BB or Pellets. Animal control officer told me that. Shoot to kill, someone elses pet is a predator in your yard.

@ Calima you should be selling some of those. I plan to ask $3.25 a dozen or $3 if they give me a carton.... I expect to get some regular customers up and down my road
