YO GEORGIANS! :)

My name is Katy, and... I'm addicted to chickens.

HELP! I'm spending an hour a day browsing Craiglist looking for different breeds.
Deciding if I can go to an auction on Friday night then drive to Monteagle TN before 6am to release pigeons.
Plotting how many I can add before hubby will notice.
I look at the brooder with 6 babies and think, hmm, why not add more since I already have to have them heated?

Now I have 3 rabbit hutches to use for youngsters, and I can't wait to fill them!

PapaChaz I did a second candle of our eggs tonight.. All still looking good. Halfway there!
I wish I'd have known you were going to, I would have liked to see that. but great news!

I'm so sorry....you must have caught 'Chickenitis' from me when you visited here! My DH is trying to find a cure, but has failed so far! LOL! When I first started chickens, I would lay awake and think of all the breeds I wanted and I would check ebay and craigslist constantly! I went thru many sleepless nights just thinking about chickens! Every time I would drive by an open field of grass, I would think of how my chickens would love running thru that field eating all that grass! Every time I would see an old shack or building, I would think, I could make a great coop out of them! So, I know what you are going thru! Welcome to chicken math!
