YO GEORGIANS! :)

GAM/Robo/Chaz..

If any of you happen to go to a TSC today and see the 2-for-$10 shavings, I'll gladly repay you for 2 or 4 bags. :) I want to go but we have family coming over and I won't be able to make it. I MIGHT can make it tomorrow but doubt that too.

That is a pretty good price. I will let you know if I am going to be near there. ONLY reason that I would even consider going anywhere near that particular location is because it's for you.

Ha! Too sweet.. What do you want? :lau jkjk

Btw thanks for dropping my cage by yesterday. I was sad to have been working but was at least having fun at work ;) Speaking of.. Had I known about this sale last night I could've stopped on my way home..

I'm going to just assume 2 things here-

1 Despite the fact that Stanley scared the hawk off, it will be back. It got in once and it DID successfully taste test Sophia, so why wouldn't it?

2 Sophia is in quarantine in the bedroom. I just went in to check on her and she already laid an egg. She's fine. the wound is 2/3 closed.

The Orthopedist who did my nerve conduction test the other day was telling me they're thinking about chickens. He was asking me what to do when I told him predator proofing was important. ironically, Sophia got attacked just a couple of hours later. I will share this infographic with him when I see them again on the 20th.

was that the EMG test? OMG I had that done on my left leg, foot and lower back. That stuff about 'the test may be a bit unpleasant, most people only find it annoying" was total crap! After that test, I swore I'd never use a cattle prod on any animal never ever!!!! The part where he stuck the needle into the nerve all up and down my leg was nothing compared to the shock therapy......but then the nerves going into my leg are severely damaged from the back/disk problems so that may have been part of it.

that, and I'm pretty much just a big baby

@carcar80 - if you were paying attention to FB, you'd know I have a pork roast on the smoker, no TSC for me today

@PapaChaz Yes. It was the EMG test. I was a little nervous about it at first but luckily the dude that did it, was funny. To me it wasn't so bad except when he stuck that wire probe into the muscle under my thumb. The rest just felt like when someone has a tens unit turned up too high. After the first few shocks, I couldn't stop laughing. It reminded me of frog dissection day in biology class. Hitting that nerve making it's leg jump. Then we were laughing at the fact that I told him I wanted to volunteer my services when my husband's agency started using tasers. They all had to volunteer to get tased during the training. I would've practically sold my soul to be the one who got to pull the trigger! That would be the best job ever!!!!!!!!

They think from all the elbow bashing coupled with the coop project over the summer, that the left ulnar nerve is trapped somewhere in there. Instead of gradually getting better, it has gotten worse. It's actually in both arms now. How, is beyond me. I never smashed my right arm on anything except a handful of times since the summer. But for whatever reason, the pain in the right elbow is almost excruciating. The left isn't painful like it was over the summer, but the numbness is still there. It's constant in my left pinky & ring finger. When I'm really busy, my whole hand gradually loses feeling. I worked the day after Christmas, 11-8. By 11:30 I couldn't feel anything and it stayed like that for 2 days.

edited to add: I only had to do it on my left hand. If it was any more than that, I'd probably want to throat-punch someone. I can't imagine all that extra.
