I misread that part.. Was thinking you'd already tried injections. A lot of times that will help a lot, or at least buy you some time! I hope so. Sounds like you ran into a real doozie there, though!

IDK what it was. I just know that the minute she walked into the exam room I wasn't feeling her at all. And it seemed mutual. I'm sure she's good at what she does, it was just one of those things. Some people's personalities clash just because and that is all. I think that's what's happening here. Not everyone's gonna like me & it goes both ways. Nothing's personal. We just don't gel.

So has anybody tried or have any experience with using Big Ole Bird as a replacement to using ACV ? Would appreciate any pros or cons on this. From what I have read they say this is actually better then ACV , but does not have a good smell or appearance and looking for any input. Thanks

I saw my physician in mid December who diagnosed it as severe tennis elbow but referred me to a Orthopedist because of the nerve stuff. She mentioned the likelihood of having to resort to steroid injections to get some relief from the pain. I wasn't able to get in with the specialist until Dec 23. Since 11 days without anything for the pain, my doc ended up calling in a pac of predinsone for a few days to get me through.

When I saw the specialist, ALL I SAID was that they needed to know that I don't do well with needles and that in order to prevent passing out, they need to lay me flat while they do it. That's how I was told in the hospital it should be done. So I don't smash my head or whatever. I guess she took it as me being too scared to do it, even though I told her I was in enough pain that I could suck it up and deal with the needles this time around. I just wanted it to stop. Instead, she sent me home with Voltaren Gel and then didn't have an opening for the EGD til Jan 14. I still don't see her for the followup until the 20th. I'm getting agitated AF because the gel is crap, I'm eating ibuprofen like it's pez and it kills just to hold my iphone or type this or the slightest basic task. Y'all know I'm a control freak & I don't have the patience to slow things down. Too much to be done & no-one to do it but me. And the rest of her advice as far as what NOT to do in order to manage it, was a total joke. Not gonna happen.

The dude who did the nerve test handed me the paperwork and told me he'd forward the results to my doc. I said hopefully the results wont require a surgical fix (it was mentioned). He said, it's kinda looking that way. I'm gonna call a chiropractor tomorrow because I'm sick of going under the knife. If I do, I would prefer it to be for something frivolous and elective. And of a plastic nature.

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I was working on chicken coops most of the day and just now saw this. Gabapentin is the generic for Neurontin. I can say it works pretty good. Doesn't stop the pain but does dull it. I was able to get some work done on chicken coops after spending 4 days on the couch. A few months ago I woke up one morning and my hands were messed up and I couldn't bend my thumb or pointer finger and it was worse on my left hand compared to my right. They would finally bend but had a clicking noise. The doctors just gave me 4 medications. I swear they didn't even touch my hands and barely listened to what the problem was. I'm sitting on the table with 4 prescriptions and thinking what just happened? I was scared of going to the chiropractor because it kills me to bend my leg at all and I know he will make it bend. HAHA!

Hilarious but understandable on the plastic nature, I just turned 40 and may need to check on some stuff myself.
