Unless you have neighbor's who are going to call and tell them I wouldn't worry about it!
I've had ducks and chickens and my neighbor even had a pig and no one cares! ....but don't get me started on barking dogs or playing kids.... That's what gets my neighbor's riled up!

Carcar, actually, I got those t-shirts at the Newnan show.

On a good note, the last two eggs in that funky broody group hatched last night! So, the hen hatched the first egg on the 11th, I took the other 5 eggs away after she abandoned them on day 3. That night one hatched on the 14th. Then one on the 19, 21st and the last two on the 26! That's what happens when you go out of town and the hen goes broody! Ha!

And, I have two more broody hens. One sitting on 5 eggs, one sitting on 8!

And, my CCL and silkie have started laying again!

When did they stop? Did they molt? Mine have continued to lay but they will be a year old in March ... If that has anything to do with it.
