I wish it was a bantam. I need a tiny bantam cochin rooster or even a little pekin rooster to go with my frizzle hen. Not sure why she is so small. I have a barred buff rooster and barred red rooster but they aren't as small as she is.

My big giant Brahma roo has no problems with my tiny Silkie! Size doesn't matter..........with chickens! HA!

Hey Doing some research online am thinking that the one recused hen I have may have a mild form of vent gleet. Anyone and their are many of you have any experience with this and what treatment is good and what I can do and expect. I have her in isolation, have given her antibiotics as well as some vitamins and minerals in her water. She does not have diarrhea or dropping do not seem totally unusual. She is eating, drinking and getting around fine. Appreciate any help you all can supply. She has caked on poop around her vent, have cleaned the area, have used wound spray, soaked her today in Epson salt and put Neosporin on her, previous used non medicated Prep H.

Vent Gleet is a form of yeast infection and antibiotics will only make it worse! You should give her lots of probiotics/yogurt. No more antibiotics! You can google it. There are many websites that will tell you how to treat it. It's a digestive problem caused by eating old, moldy food and wet environments. The raw apple cider vinegar will help....the one with 'mother' written on the bottle. So, google it! Good luck.

I have a few little bantam roosters that I need to rehome. One has feathered legs and is barred.
