I've done searches for an hour about what is safe to mark hatching eggs. The results are about 50-50 on using a sharpie. I know some of you folks mark your eggs so please chime in and let me know if using a sharpie will cause any harm. I'm ready to mark some eggs tonight. Thanks

Yep. #2 pencil. I've heard of the sharpie thing too, though, and have received hatching eggs marked with one with no ill effect.

did you notice his comb? it's like a 3 part single comb, I mean I realize it's the cross between the leghorn and AM, single and rose, but it's kinda freaky looking up close, LOL

That blows. They've been in the run since it happened. I should've known he'd get em. I noticed he'd been hanging around for a couple weeks prior. At least. Stalking. Sat in a tree 20ft (if that) above my head while I was putting Christmas lights on the shrubs. Ballsy little ******.
I have another 100yds of metered fishing line on order (neighbor's suggestion). I'll close the gaps that allowed the breach and see what happens. I may have to do the jail time or pay the hefty fine. Cuz I'm PO'd.
