Yay for bunnies! You could try contacting the GA Houserabbit Society about adopting. I think the GA Chapter is in Marietta but thier website has all the info. And if you're looking for great food/hay, Small Pet Select's products are awesome. Super fresh compared to the stuff sitting on store shelves. It's shipped direct. I did the math & it works out to be only a couple bucks more than big box stores, but the quality is unbeatable. Lucille nearly takes my hand off when I go to put the pellets in her bowl. I've been on the Houserabbit Society website quite a bit gaining info, etc. I was actually wondering if you could use timothy/orchard grass baled for horses for rabbits? I know where I can get 50lbs of pure timothy hay for only $18! that would last one bunny for close to 6 months! lol. There's also a local mill that makes their own feed, so I'm sure I could look into getting good quality feed from them! Any breed suggestions? I'm turning a 5'x4' old hen house into an outdoor hut, and it will be taken out on walks, as well as given free supervised reign in my basement, so I feel like I would like a slightly large breed, between 8-15 lbs? Also want an outgoing, friendly breed that doesn't need too much "special" care, just another fun pet!

I didn't realize you are in Dallas. I am too.
I actually was just up at TS yesterday and was very happy with prices, stock and personal.
I went to Lawson's and they are closed down... I will miss them.
I want 2 chicks and TS won't sell just 2 even if they do get the breeds I want.
I'm still looking for someone who might have a buff Orpington or a black leghorn... I wanted and EE but not sure now that I've learned that they might not be the best layers.
Any ideas on where I could find those 2 breeds that I mentioned ?

There are a few of us in and around the Paulding area.

I only go to TSC in Dallas if there is absolutely no way around it. I go to Haney primarily.
