Hi I'm Lisa, Jefferson, Ga and this is my first time having chickens... I've actually owned 14 of them but have lost 5. 3 died and the rest stolen... We learned the hard way to now fully enclose our chickens..

So glad you caught them in time! Wonder if the big one was a Pyr? I know my Pyrs are almost impossible to contain. My Girl even jumps the 6' pen. She stays on a leash or chain unless I am in the yard with her. Oh, and good news!

It wasn't a Pyr, but it was bigger than a normal lab. Maybe some bully breed or something mixed in judging by its big old head And I LOVE your egg!!

How exciting! Yeah, chicken math is a thing, I lost two birds and am now planning on replacing them with 4 new ones, a new coop, and a rabbit.
