YO GEORGIANS! :)

That's great!! So the lamp went out, right? I've been thinking about putting a heat lamp on each end of my long brooder during these frigid nights.. In case one goes out hopefully the other wouldn't.. However for now I have mine in the house too.

No, the lamp was still on, they were huddled under it. But having all 26 (now 25) in the one tote was too much.
I thought body heat, they thought pile. And the little one got squashed.

Once I get space cleared in the garage I will have 2 lights on each box.

are you coming to the Newnan swap? I'm hoping to meet a few more people who didn't get to come to the meet and greet at GAMs last may. Always nice to make new friends. As it stands right now, we're planning on being there, depending on the weather of course

I'm crossing an AM rooster with my black australorps. Hatched out the first of them last sept, I'm down to just one pullet myself, and as far as I know none of them have started laying yet. But they should give us some shade of green egg. I also have some welsummers coming, that will also be crossed with one of my AM roosters. Of course by the time those start laying, and I hatch out some and then THEY start laying, we're talking next year to get those eggs, but that dark brown hen and my blue gene rooster should give me some girls that will lay a pretty olive colored egg. So we can keep this in mind for next year for you  :)
Is tha at the fair grounds or Tractor Supply I am off that day and want to go ?

Am getting excited about chicks coming next week!

I am getting one Delaware, one white Leghorn (to make Super Blue Egg Layers), one Golden Cuckoo Marans, 1 more EE (cause I love them!), and one Welsummer. Then, I am getting more Lav AMs, a BCM, and some more Welsummers, Then, in March, my Speckled Sussex, Silver Laced Polish, SL Wyandotte, and a few sex links, oh, and 2 more EEs are coming!

The get together at the TSC is on the 27th starts at 9 am to 3pm,

The swap/show for newnan is on the 20th and here is the link for that http://www.cvpa-newnan.org/

I NEED EVERYONE'S HELP!!!!

I have a little dog she is 7 months spayed and up to date on all shots, but I need to find her a home, she is skittish around new people but once she gets to know you she is a great little dog. We named her Cleopatra she won't be very big she I guess weighs about 20 pounds. this isn't a very good pic of her, but please help me find her a home so she doesn't have to go to the pound.

She loves to play and loves to play in water, good with kids and cats and other dogs. If you have a mole problem she will fix that for you.
