YO GEORGIANS! :)

Wait. Where were you??

I made a super fast pass through in about 45 minutes! I had to work this afternoon, so I just met up with flower to get chicks and eggs, then made one run-through to look at the swap and show. I wish I could have stayed longer!

LOVED this girl and boy.

Something tells me I may have dark brahmas in my future..

Did they have any buff and dark brahma bantams? I have been looking for those the past few years and still haven't been able to find any. I regret ever selling out of those. I should have went!

I think so, but I wasn't looking closely for that breed so they could have just been young/small Brahmas instead of bantams. Most of the show and swap was bantams though! Many more bantams than standard breeds.

Man, I didn't even SEE the egg judging area. Was thinking it'd be a tent like last year but hubby says it was more of a table and wondered why I didn't stop. But he says it was right next to the boiled peanuts to which my son is deathly allergic so that's prob why. Every time we passed I herded him away lol.
Anyway. Bummed I missed it.

We made a stop there. They had some lovely eggs up into the 7-8 shade range! Nothing I would quite call a 9 range egg, but lots of gorgeous dark eggs anyway! I think flower said she was even able to buy some! So next year maybe we can hit her up for some Marans hatching eggs. ;)
