No, it won't hurt but unless your pic is flawed in how the light shines through the egg..
Here's a good example I found here on BYC of a day 18 ..
I have some olive eggs that are so dark green you cant see through them even with the strongest light. I have tried everything. I am going to put them on lockdown and just wait and see. HA! I just finished hatching my uncles game eggs and only had 12 out of 16 to hatch. Now I have 42 more going on lockdown. Have some of my green ones in this group. I could barely see a vein in one of them when I candled on week 11. Fingers crossed!!

My setup..I think one of these is older than me. Not hard to figure out which one it is. HAHA!

Oh yeah, the darker ones you just have to hold tight and hope! LOL
Like yours!!!? OMG, my DH would die! As it is, this is the 2nd full incubator going now (well, tomorrow for this one) plus the little mini bator in the picture. The mini one has the 4 Marans eggs I got from Newnan last week.
You know, I was really disappointed at the lack of raffles this year.. Or else I totally just missed them. Remember, last year they raffled a GQF and there were lots of Marans egg raffles too. This year it was mostly the Cochins outside the jr tent, and when I asked the girl when the drawing was she spit out all this info about juniors that made me feel like I wasn't allowed to enter since I was OLD.. I was so confused.

They did have a raffle, but they said they couldn't get the GQF this year. They only had a brooder and a few other things. Nothing big. Then, the auctions were horrible. Really cheap stuff. And, you had to be there to win. Yeah, disappointing.
Yeah.. I'm honestly not sure I'll go next year but maybe I'll change my mind by then. I realized this year, I'm too scared to get birds at a swap-type environment even if I did find some I liked! I'm too a 'feared of germs
um, yeah! I was wondering about all that. There were quite a few chickens being judged that were not well. How do they get by with that? I always come right in and take a shower, wash my hair and my clothes.
