YO GEORGIANS! :)

This and my catalytic converter now need to be replaced and I am still going do a 5 hour round trip up to pick up CCL chicks next weekend. Sooo do I need to take my temperature to see if this chicken fever hubby said I have ha maybe gotten to a dangerous level lol?

Where are you picking up CCL?

Yesterday was a beautiful day for the first babies I hatched at home, and their friends about the same age to go outside for the first time.
4 of the ones I hatched, 5 FBCM, 5 Welsummers, 1 Lavender Am, 2 Swedish Flowers, 3 Light Brahmas.

We used our handy dandy folding playpen.
6' on a side, 40" high. Made of PVC with the plastic garden fencing. Panels connected with zip ties, and the door closed with dog collars. Only used with supervision.

Daughter got worried when after running around pecking and jumping, one at a time they started laying on their sides and stretching.
I convinced her they were just soaking up that sunlight, and after standing several back up to see that they were alright, she just sat in her chair next to them to watch.

I hated putting them back in the garage last night.

The Justin Smithey suggestion. He is out of town this weekend, but said when he gets back Monday he thinks he can fill my 3 girl/1 Roo request. Given I work in a medical office all week I explained it would be next weekend before I could make that drive. He was great and said no problem.

He was very easy to work with! He held my 6+1 for a week (so I got them as week olds, and a little sturdier)
I may have to get on his list for those buff Ameraucanas. I love the variety, and I'd have a long time to build them their own pen...
And my little Wheaten needs friends. LOL. Still waiting on my BW Am eggs, we are at day 13 I believe...

I've been playing with my farm Facebook page today, moving pictures into albums etc.
Mainly so I can see what I still need pictures of...

Does not apply to all TSC stores !

  that's sad

Not sad....they don't all sell chicks. What is sad is that just because a store was built within city limits they still fall under the city livestock rules. As if only city dwellers shop there. That means those outside the city have to drive to another location to get chicks.
