YO GEORGIANS! :)

the "mallard" looking one is as big (even bigger than one) of the pekins, and is actually 2 days younger. I thought MAYBE Rouen, bc I have a rouen drake that I got at 6 days old, but thus one is muddled and not striped..and his beak and feet are patchy

Here we go, got a good close up of Moo...

Nope, not a Mallard. haha Might be a Rouen mutt or whatever that other one is that Cliff got.

The dark brown is a khaki cambell. The one i have that looks similar to yours is a blue swedish without the defined color pattern. I wasn't a huge fan of the defined true swedish patterns so i picked out one that should have more of a speckled pattern similar to the ancona.

Nice, I guess we'll see lol. I have a Rouen blue swedish mix and as a baby she had the rouen pattern but I stead of the dark brown she was a very pretty grey with blue eyes

Her now (left)

My wife loves ducks far more than chickens so i am considering adding a drake of some sort to our flock so we can enjoy hatching out ducklings on occasion. I've got the Rouenhen, the Swedish and Cayuga ducklings, a Pekin and a Crested Duck that are about 2 weeks old so maybe i will keep the Pekin or Crested if they turn out to be a male.

Is anyone going to Dalton tomorrow for the Carpet City Bantam Show?
I'm not looking for bantams, but would love a few white and buff silkies.
If the guy buying more pigeons shows up, I MAY head that way.

Wish gas would stop going up!

Feel free to grab me a modern game bantam rooster while you're stopping by.

So does everyone know about "Flat Stanley"? Well a few years ago I had to help my niece with Flat Stanley. So, I thought to myself, gee, I think I will make all my kids a Flat "Mom and Dad". That way we can be with them all the time and go where ever they go. Well, ever since then, we travel everywhere with our children!

DH and I went to China this week! To the great wall of China with our DD! See the wall in the background?

We have been to Ireland, London, Japan, and many many other places! We even went into the surgery room with DD when we couldn't really be there! A nurse took a photo of my DD on the operating table with flat MOM and DAD by her side!!!! I love that our kids (all grown up) take us with them. Last year we went on Safari (the Picture kind) in Africa with one of our daughters. We had our picture taken with the elephants and lions! It always tickles my heart when our kids send us pics of us 'with' them.

Once, my DD called to say she heard her kids (our grandkids) asking Grandpa (DH) if he wanted to buy that property. Wanting to know what was going on, she peeked around the corner to find Flat MOM and DAD playing monopoly with the grandkids! Precious!
