I feel the same Jack. I have lost multiple hens to loose dogs. I shot at the last pair, and owners "found out" and actually came pounding on my door screaming about her purebred Welsh Spaniels". I calmly told her that my hens were purebred too, and that they we're our pets also, as well as part of our income. My DH was right behind me, and not so calmly told her to stop screeching at me, and that local law allowed us to shoot and kill any animal threatening their livestock.
Next time I will not shoot to scare them. I will shoot to kill even though I love dogs. (I have one) I lost a Cream Legbar hen, a Buff Orpington, and a Black Australorp on our property that day. It would have been more if our JuJu had not fended them off as quickly as she did. We also called the police to report the incident. If you love your animals/pets....mind them!!!
Rant over. Lol.
 
yes I'll be bringing the pulled pork and home made sauce. Is someone bringing buns? I have a roast to do that's just over 10 lbs, so should have about 7 lbs of actual meat to eat. Last year it wasn't that big and we still brought some home, so that should be plenty. Need to be sure someone is bringing buns, thinking that last year the folks bringing buns didn't actually make it and didn't let anyone know they weren't coming.......

ok I will put myself down for buns and dogs and dog buns, and since I like unsweet tea I'll bring that too, ok and sweet. I'm really excited had a nice time the last time. My DH can come this year, he's not working.


So the list of who is bringing what:

Kat -2 packs of dogs/buns and buns and tea

Papa-BBQ and sauce

Gam/Robo- place and eating stuff



I count 9 so far, Papa/Mrs.Papa Gam that is for there, Me and Mr.Kat
