Being the noob I was I have no idea how to store hatching eggs so I googled and read up on it so now I feel that I can do things with eggs :3

Well, I guess I lied when I told @Flowerbh 's husband at last years swap that I did NOT have "chickenitis". Seems I do. Not yet to the level of needing 12 step meetings but, I found the 3 birds I was looking for and I decided on 1or maybe 2 others, as well. If officer husband agrees to the extra 2 that were not part of our original deal, they're mine! I cannot wait for the 30th to get here.

I am literally high on the anticipation of adding to our flock! Bouncing off the walls. I have names for most of them already picked out. #namenerd


And next year, IT IS ON. I would like to get one of those 10x12 shed kits and make room for a bigger flock, add 2 Khaki Campbell ducks and use the current coop as a grow out coop.
And husband is still keen on the idea of goats. He was the one who brought them up in the first place.

dang wind. Started the spring coop/run cleanout yesterday. got the run done yesterday, but can't do all the spraying/ shoveling in the coop with all this wind! It better be decent here tomorrow. So annoyed right now.
