YO GEORGIANS! :)

How do you like him? I hatched him. He is the brother of my Lav AM roo, Cooper.
I think he is so pretty and he doesn't have an attitude anymore, my big boy put him in his place, and I can go and pick him up,tho he doesn't much enjoy it but he doesn't try to bit me like he did when I first met him.

Wow. Mine never bite me or even look at me funny. I wonder why some act that way and some don't?

I don't know whether to laugh or what. One of my delawares done gone broody on me. 3 of them now in the little garden tractor.

And I don't know which is worse, broody hens or pregnant women. Their both difficult to deal with.

I'm out of 'likes' for the day. I do appreciate all the offers for help!

I do have 2 broody hens, so I'm going to divide the dozen from Saturday between them tomorrow and let them both get it out of their systems

I haven't really even done anything with this bator yet. The outside is still in good shape. Thing that took the worst of it is the plastic inside. This thing having been a wine cooler, had a molded plastic inside, and the complete top, and about the top 1/4 of the sides melted. Even with the heat retardant foam insulation I put in it, still melted it. I had no idea that 125 watt heat element would get that hot, but I suppose it's obvious that if it doesn't turn off it will!

I also haven't really checked all the options for repair, If I go back with a wafer thermostat or a hot water heater thermostat and strip out the melted plastic, redo the foam and the put some metal on the walls, I can redo the shelves where I want them and not be stuck with it the way it was, I was very limited on my shelf placements anyway. This isn't something I'll do soon, but work on it over the summer, and hopefully not have to spend a lot to get back going again, and maybe next spring I'll sell enough chicks out of it to pay for a new one

anyway, I'll post up pics for sure

I am selling a few Orust roosters or what will be roosters I should say, they hatched on 3/20 asking $ 75 each. See link below:

https://greenfirefarms.com/orust.html

I got one pic of a rooster with a Isbar in the background but that Isbar has a weird comb and could be a rooster or a hen. The rooster looks the same but has a taller comb.

I also have a GFF Isbar rooster for sale in that same group and he is black for now but will probably be silver and black once grown $30:

I am also selling some bantam EE roosters for $7 each or $12 for 2.

I have another that is possibly mixed with a bantam RIR but too fast for a pic. He was black, now he is almost red but is a beautiful rooster. We may be selling our breeders of bantam RIR and will let you know. Also thinking of selling one of my young Ayam Cemani chicks. I think I have 2 roosters.

What?! I loved being pregnant! I wanted to be pregnant forever! I had 4 children, but wanted 10! I just waited too long in between babies and got too old! Ha! Nowadays, people don't even start their family until in their mid 30s. I thought that was too old to have more! I miss the ones I never had! Always wonder what they would have looked like or been like! I had the best time growing up with my kids! They all turned out so wonderful! Never had any problems with them! I loved being a MOM! I guess that is why now that they have all moved away, I want lots of baby chicks to love on!

I too was a happy pregnant woman, I stopped after 2 ,14 months apart, I wasn't supposed to be able to have any, nothing wrong with that plumbing. kids are fun and funny some of the things they do and say. I don't know if I wanted to be pregnant forever, but I was never sick hence the 9 and 10 pounder couldn't keep my head out of the fridge.
