the egg that is on day 23, I was able to snatch it from Sophia. I put a flashlight up to it and it looks like it's completely full except where the air cell is. I know for sure there was movement inside on day 20, but now I can't see a thing. Oddly, the one that hatched is the one I had doubts about the whole time. This one is Blanche's egg. It's darker than the other and her shells always seem thicker than the others for some reason. Is it possible for a shell to be too thick for the chick to break through? Like, get pipped or die tryin? Her eggs are also much bigger than the others, too.

The can wait for 2 days after hatching, due to the fact that they absorb the yolk sac. but I put food in with them so moma can show them when she's ready, or after all have hatched and up and running good is when I put food in for them when I'm the moma and don't forget to dip their beaks just the tip in the water you don't want to get it into their nostrils, and do the same for the food

I took their box away as soon as the last hatcher could walk without falling, the first has been out of the egg for 2 days. At this age they don't really seem to really eat as much as peck at things that are interesting, or at least that's how it seems to me.
