I've got some black copper marans with feathered feet that are 9 weeks and 12 weeks old if you're interested.Only bought four Marans eggs. 2 were not fertile. Only one hatched and of course, it was a boy!
Ordered some dark dark Marans hatching eggs from a guy off ebay.. They all were watery inside when I got them. I called the guy and told him. Nothing developed, He sent more and they were watery, too. Nothing developed.
Not only did my Welsummer die, but the Golden Cuckoo Marans died, too! Both my dark egg layers. They were both a few months old. I think the new feed I got just didn't do anything for the juveniles. They grew so fast at that age, they weren't getting the right nutrition or it was bad feed. Whatever, Was really sad that I have no dark egg layers growing out now!
