@Robo, as long as she takes the meds every day like she's supposed to, thing will go along rather smoothly. Let her forget though and it's katie bar the door...........experience since 2003 on this, so trust me when I say I know what I'm talking about
 
Help!?!?!?!
I recently lossed a beautiful full grown egg laying Orpington. It's neck was slit open, and it looked like its face had been attacked. I don't think whatever killed it tried to eat the bird at all. Any idea what could have killed it?

I want a Welsummer, but I really don't want to drive that far. We had to go to a funeral in Atlanta Tuesday. Saddest one I've been to in a long time....30 year old son of a friend of ours chocked and died. I had forgotten about traffic. We live up here where that doesn't really exist. Driving that far just doesn't appeal to me at the moment. GAM, you can have her. The EE chicks sound good, too, but I have 13 chicks still growing out and I need to stop. I need to auction off some of the older hens before I do anything else. I need to sell the Polish roosters and the male runner ducks, too.
 
GAM, when I had to have my plumbing out, they told me I could go home the next day. I was so sad and asked if I could stay the three days allotted by my insurance. She just didn't understand until she met DH. After talking to him (Spouse consultation), she pulled me aside and patted my hand and told me now she understood and I could stay as long as I wanted!!!! Everyday, she would come by and ask if I was ready to go home and I would say, 'no' and she said, 'You got it" and I would stay another day.... Shoot, my own remote control, meals in bed, ....absolute holiday for me!!!
