How many times does a dog have to be sprayed by a skunk before it learns? One of my dogs is on it's second spray and then another question. Why does the DH have to let said dog in the house when you can smell the dog from a mile away. DH had to give dog a bath outside cold cold well water but he smells all good now.

Thankfully, our dogs never got sprayed. But, we can relate to the ice cold well water! Many a chicken or dog has been dunked in that out of necessity outside for one reason or another.


We are braced for possible tornadoes up here today. They say winds around 60-70 mph and maybe F-2 and above tornadoes could happen. I'm going to shut down the computer soon. The worst seems to be coming around noon. I'll be inside working on my latest quilt project, a 3D effect quilt in shades of gray. The blocks are just pinned on the wall, not assembled so it may appear a tad wonky in places. Anyone interested in the craft should check out some of my threads in Hobbies; don't want to gunk up this thread with all that.

Your quilt is fun! I use to do a lot of quilting until we moved out of the big house into the apartment. We now rent out the big house as a vacation rental. Anyway, I have about 10 tops ready for quilting. Do you know anyone with a long arm machine who will quilt them for me?

Love your quilt!! My great aunt used to hand quilt everything! When she passed my mom got all of her tops (finished and unfinished) and fabric, there is so much but there is such beauty in the uniqueness of every different quilt! Maybe someday I will have the patience to quilt.... the room to do it would be helpful too!
