The farm isn't even close to ready but I sure am. Always such a nice day. Sure do enjoy sharing the farm with all you weird chicken folks. Haha

Happy Birthday, and I have 4 dogs no fence and I dare then to leave the yard, they are only outside when I'm home, but I understand irresponsible pet owners, oh and my animals are fully vetted.  They have a pasture behind us they can go explore but you better not cross the road and they know it too.  Just saying it can be done with a little work, just to let you know I'm not taking offence to your post just adding my 2 cents worth.

I'll agree there are e some that are great owners of dogs and handle them correctly but many many don't have a clue as to what it takes to have a dog

After inspecting all of the chicks in the brooder, the snake did a little more damage than we first noticed. One buff orpington had his tail removed - just a bloody stump there now. We've treated it, and he is in isolation. He seems to be perky, so I hope he recovers. Another buff had a facial bite from the snake, but he's doing fine.

Oh well, onward and upward.

Yeah, I rescued a very pregnant dachshund and her chiwinnie boy and girl, fully vetted all and I have the mom, my son has the daughter and the son went to another home, the people who had the dogs couldn't feed themselves or their kids much less keep the electric on and a case worker contacted me and asked if I'd take and place the dogs but dogs are healthy and happy now,

All 14 Khaki Campbell eggs look good going into lockdown tonight. The broody maran has 5 eggs that look good for a Sat. hatch. And Lil' Sonya, the Flemish/New Zealand cross had her kits today!
