YO GEORGIANS! :)

Big Change for today. If anyone see's this. The bathroom is broken at GAM's so we're switching over to my place here in Draketown. It's only 5-6 miles away from GAM's. Go to Roses's store on HWY 120 (Buchanan Hwy). Go west toward Buchanan about 5 miles. You'll go past Phat Phil's restaurant and the Draketown superette. Turn right on Francis White Rd. After it turns to a gravel road, you'll go through a clear cut and you'll bear right at the first road, Loftis Rd. Stay on Loftis until you come to my driveway. #457 Loftis Rd. There is a split rail fence, green farm gate and an American Flag. Come on up the driveway to the house. It's a half mile long. Pull up to the house to unload and then park along the tree line.
DO NOT TRY TO COME DOWN WEATHERINGTON ROAD. It is not passable. And there is no bridge over the river on Loftis Rd. You must come in from Francis White.

well my first trip to the new board. Have to say, as usual for me and BYC, I'm not impressed. Probably because people are mostly adverse to change anyway. And contrary to popular opinion. I am a person :D

Hope the site being down didn't mess up the communications too much and mess up y'alls get-together. I wanted to come, but I knew I would be real late getting in last night and wouldn't feel like driving again today. My son is a music teacher and his chorus group sang the National Anthem last night at the Braves game. I didn't get home 'til around 2AM, but we had a great time. Hope y'all are having a great day!

Had a great time at the BYC picnic. It was nice to meet so many of you in person. Liv did an awesome job on the t-shirts! Special thanks to Jack for hosting the change in venue to his place. The weather held up for the entire picnic, but the rain was coming down in buckets by the time we made it home. Hope everyone gets home safely.

Great time today ... and so thankful for both Jack and the weather. Love the shirts and can't wait for reports on hatches from the egg swap.

I will let y'all know when the bathroom is fixed and we can talk about that field trip idea to our place.

Crazy new girl question coming to y'all again (and I do appreciate all the advice y'all have given). Our girls have now been out in their coop now for the past 11 days and all 12 of them are right around 9-weeks old. They have now figured out to go in at night but I am concerned with these storms we are having. The girls keep going under the coop instead of inside. Am I being silly thinking that they could get sick getting so wet in this rain? I'm such a paranoid new chick mama.

I wish we could have made the get together but it's my youngest's birthday today and DH had to work :(

We did get to the rodeo in Newnan yesterday and it was wonderful!! It was almost 1:30am by the time we got home.

We really enjoyed the picnic today. The home was immaculate and everyone was easy to talk with.
Thanks to livhatcher for the fantastic job on the shirts: if you ordered one and didn't make the event to pick it up, please have the courtesy to get with livhatcher and make arrangements to cover the cost of the work she did for you.
Thanks again everyone; great time today.
