YO GEORGIANS! :)

Am I the KB?
No, but hats off to Derrick for being a good sport and supporting you with your chicken acquisition. You got some nice purebred birds, and he got some bantams and a great-looking bantam rooster, so it was a win-win situation for y'all. :)

As for Missy's KB, bringing chicks or hatching eggs home from the picnic was not part of the deal; so when I made my comment; a look of shock, and disbelief, with undertones of anger swept across her face. I quickly apologized and told her it wasn't true, but not before I got to see the full effect of my words. Missy was kinda in on it though. :D

My chickens eat bees, wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets. If they've ever gotten stung, I've never known about it. If one of my birds did get a sting, I probably wouldn't do anything other than maybe give her a treat like some grapes or popcorn.

When it comes to chickens, there are plenty of people who will offer some nonsense advice that could be harmful to your girl, so please be careful. Hope she feels better soon.

BTW, I know I don't know KB that well, but the look on her face was PRICELESS when I told her that you needed to get your birds out of the van! :lau I hope she'll forgive me for that one, but I couldn't help myself, and I think you were thinking of doing the same thing!
Lol she said you are forgiven!!
