YO GEORGIANS! :)

Just wanted to say hi to all my fellow Georgians! A bit overdue, honestly. I'm in Augusta/Hephzibah and have had chickens since I got my first 6 from TSC in June 2022. My others all came from Barnhart's Feed & Seed. I currently have 19 chickens of various breeds. I'm hoping to try my hand at hatching eggs in the future!

Nice to meet you all!
Hello I’m also in that area! Started my chicken journey in 2020. I have 24 chickens now.

Hi! Wanted to say hi to my fellow Georgians! I’m in Southeast Georgia near Statesboro. We started out with a few Easter egger yard chickens but now have sebrights, bantam Cochins, Brahma, polish, turkeys, turken chickens, ameraucana, silkies, bobwhite quail, and ring neck pheasants. Looking to add other types of pheasants to our homestead!
Hi and your not very far either.

Hello!

I’m between Springfield and Rincon. How was the storm in your area? We got 14.5” on top of the 1.5” we had the day before that. Things are drying out but my garden has really suffered.

I raise Naked Necks, for eggs and meat, and one lone Ameraucana for decoration 😂

Hey neighbor! We got 10 with the storm and 2 before the storm. Luckily we didn’t have any flooding or damage, I did lose 4 birds, I’m just thankful it wasn’t worse than it was!

Hi Wingingit, not sure if you've any Rhode Island Reds, but I have 22 hens that are 4 months old as of yesterday. Today I got my first two eggs from 2 of them. Anyway if you're interested in buying a couple I am trying to find homes for about 10 of them. They're very sweet, none of them have had any issues at all. I will deliver them or you can pick up of course. I live in Grovetown it is in the northwest corner of Augusta essentially. If I deliver it is
$25 from 1-50 miles $50 from 50-100 miles
$35 each hen

hello hello hello, just moved here to Georgia after spending a year in Florida. Was going to settle down there but darn kept getting hit with hurricane after hurricane and it is hard to protect your outside animals so thought I would give Georgia a try. Been here almost a months. I love it BUT it’s starting to get cold sooooo not as happy at the moment. One reason I wanted to be in Florida as there really isn’t cold weather. So we will see how this goes lol. I’m up in northern Georgia Dalton/Rocky face area. It is beautiful…
