YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hello from Chickamauga Georgia,
New to the board. I have discovered the fun of hatching eggs and now have several kinds of feathered kids. Just received a order of Cochin Bantam babies...black, blue, red and white.
We are located about 20 miles south of Chattanooga TN and 100 miles north of Atlanta GA.
I am so glad to be here and have already learned alot.

Good morning you all....If you are in or near Carrollton be sure and come by Burson's feed and seed today!!! We have boodles and boodles of vegetables (chemical free, eggs, milk, baked goodies for sale) also another major naturally grown farmer will be there with produce and pasture raised me..... From 9:00 am to 11:00 am....Lots of activities on the square ....We are just off the square...listed in atlanta clist as well - see w. of atlanta section....Love, hugs and prayers to all. Nancy

Hi! Anybody local to Evans County / Claxton got female Pekins available? My Mom and a couple other folks down that way are looking for some (I have no extra girls right now). Also, since the facility at the Metter Critter Sale burned down, where are the sales?
Send me a message or email.
Thanks!
Lisa

Hello all, I am outside Cartersville.
I have 4 hens. 2 RIR, 1 Ameraucana, 1 EE.
I am excited, I bought 6 chickens at easter, sadly they were eaten by a dog just before July 4. I bought my current 4 girls at Ladds farm supply, I just got my first egg yesterday and another one today !

Yea plumberchick.....Those first eggs are the best!!! Hi VE,,,,It's been a while since I've seen you on the board here!!! Give me a pm sometime....I'd like to catch up with how you are doing and especially those pretty Marans of yours! Our farm continues to grow and we have many vegetables, milk and eggs and very soon bunnies....Good work but hard work! Y'all have a blessed day!
Nancy

Hi Nancy Gary, nice of you to remember me and send a note. I've been busy lately, I was promoted to new job / posiiton -- Now they're sending me to English school !?! That will take up much time. I saw your new internet page - nice picture of the old tractor. I admire you farm ideals, to stay chemical free and organic and with your variety of birds and animals. I still have Marans but lately I'm been going toward Leghorns, especially the Black Leghorns. I do hope we can meet again. I'm waiting for the Feb. 2011 Newnan show. Will be there? Best regard to both of you. Vasil A.

I must see photos of those Black Leghorns.....I might bring a Wheaten Marans rooster for judging to the show or a Coronation Sussex roo.

Thanks for the encouragement... It's harder to farm the way we do, but the only way to farm...Congrats on your promotion and stay in touch....DO you have details for the Newnan show, I haven't seen any ....Have a blessed day! Nancy (we're also on facebook under The Garry Farm).

Well maybe we can catch up at the show! What will you be bringing?
