The current set-up is the main hutch-style coop on the right of the very back of the yard, on a small slope. In the middle-front of the chicken area, there's a small tractor which I'm using as a grow out for my Del babies. That coop will be leaving in four weeks, though, I sold it. Behind there is a big pile of wood for the new coop construction. It's in the center of the very back. Then where the tractor is will be the run, which will be around 20 x 14. Confusing, sorry.

Today the Garry Farm will be at an impromptu farmers market from 10 to 11 am at the Burson's feed and seed in carollton ga just off square at 124 rome street and selling oodles of differnet vegetables grown naturally and milk and eggs.

Then from 2 to 4 today we will have our 3rd bunny and chick daze of the year. Bring a lunch or snack, sit under a picknick table and enjoy the fresh clean air. Don't forget your camera as you will see more than 500 animals!!!

Woot! add me! add me! I'm in Thomas Co. I have recenty got the hatching fever! Hatched 18 on 2/25, 23 on 3/16-17 + 25 from Welp Hatchery, and I just set 9 tonite!! PLus I'm getting more this week to set this weekend!!!

I have 8 adult chickens, 1 red/buff/white Amish auction mutt Roo, 1 wheaton GameX, 1 lemon blue DorkingX, 1 white Leghorn, 1 dark Cornish, and a "Fuzzy" pair (also from Amish auction), a lemon blue roo and a barred hen.

Want to give accolades to my friend Itsmyobsession!! She and a team of workers from the firm they worked for, helped out at The Garry Farm....on Friday....It would have been a scene for Dirty Jobs...They shoveled and cleaned manure with me...Picked veggies with Jacque and More ....How can I tell you how much their presence, their work, their caring, and their supercharged happy attitude did....They were liquid sunshine for my heart!!!! Mandy, I owe you more than I can ever pay!!!! God bless you this week and all my Georgia friends.
