YO GEORGIANS! :)

This is probably a long shot, but... If you know of anyone in the Fayette County area who may be interested in a hybrid homeschool group for 3rd/4th grade, pass this along! www.inmanhybridschool.blogspot.com.

Is anyone else having horrible luck lately with hatches?? I started out with awesome luck in the Spring... and my hatch rate has gotten worse and worse. I'm thinking about moving the bator to a different room, and maybe doing a dry hatch. Thoughts?

Have you cleaned your bator recently? That can sometimes cause problems late in the season--also remember the birds are fresh in the sping and as the season goes the get a little run down. Might want to hit them with some vitamins and a little extra protein. If the eggs are not from your birds then other may need to do the same. My hatches us to do the same thing but if I watch the bird's health it stays pretty good. Also remember the heat may be getting to your eggs if your bird are in good shape.

Is your incubator in your home? Our in an out building?

Sounds like your close to me (Cusseta, Georgia outside of Ft. Benning )LOL.

Not far from you, I go through Cusseta, slowly, when heading to Columbus! If you can get from Cusetta to Cairo in an hour, you are speedy!
