How are you planning to keep the Red Shoulder genetics?hehehe , thank you ... yeah.. need long progress
Well, I was trying to get some good eggs from bantam Yokohama hen but all of them doesn't work ! The eggs are empty ! I think she has problem so, I started from another way.. like what I explained before..How are you planning to keep the Red Shoulder genetics?
Empty as in no contents? Wierd!Well, I was trying to get some good eggs from bantam Yokohama hen but all of them doesn't work ! The eggs are empty ! I think she has problem so, I started from another way.. like what I explained before..
No I meant the egg after 21 days there is nothing growing up in it ! it looks that rooster does't do anything while I see him doing muchEmpty as in no contents? Wierd!
I meant the plumage genetics. Like, how will you breed back to Red Shoulder.
Thank you ..Very beautiful birds![]()

What I want from mixing is to recover the breed in another way!
First, I mixed Yokohama bantam rooster with Arabic hen, then the hybrid was produced and I named them (First hybrid). After that , I mixed Yokohama bantam rooster with First hybrid , then the hybrid was produced and I named them (Second hybrid). After months I will mix Yokohama bantam rooster with Second hybrid to produce hybrid I will name them (First generation). After that , I will mix Yokohama bantam rooster with First generation. And finally I will get what I want.
Why I'm doing this, because I want some benefit which are :
- More eggs yearly *
(Arabic chicken give more than 300 eggs yearly while Yokohama less than 100 eggs yearly)
- Better vitality and health *
(Arabic chicken has high bearing strength for heat and high immunity strength)
- Some different and beautiful chickens * from (Second hybrid) & (First generation)
That's all
I understand now, thank youNo I meant the egg after 21 days there is nothing growing up in it ! it looks that rooster does't do anything while I see him doing much
yeah.. as I said.. now the second hybrid has 75% of the Red shoulder Yokohama bantam. So, when I finish what I started I will get 100% like Red shoulder Yokohama bantam
WelcomeI understand now, thank you
Please excuse my initial confusion.
