Yolk not fully absorbed?

I'd give her some time to get on her feet. They can roll around a couple hours before getting steady. They are cute! What breed are they?
Not sure about the mom but the dad is half Ayam Cemani

Unfortunately it looks like number 2 also didn’t absorb her yolk and it looks way worse. She’s still on her back. She’s trying to flip over but keeps getting tired. Hopefully she snaps out of it like number one.

I don't know what advice to give you about this one. I've never had that much blood in a hatch before, but that doesn't mean it's not normal. Hopefully someone else will chime in with advice on this little guy. Until then, I'd just keep him warm in the incubator for now. You didn't assist in the hatch at all, did you?

Not at all. I try to stay pretty hands off. It’s not bleeding anymore and still trying pretty hard to flip over between breaks. I guess there’s nothing to do but hurry up and wait right? It did just flip over though and it looks like a good portion of the yolk went back in her. This one seems to be quite the little fighter.

Oh good. I hope she makes it!!! :fl

Hows the chick doing?
She’s sleeping right now lol. She finally got onto her feet for more than a few seconds. She’s been upright for a little over an hour. The poor thing is just wiped out from struggling to get upright I think. But both of them are moving around and cheeping so that’s an improvement! I keep neurotically checking on them lol. We have five more eggs pipping so hopefully all those guys are good! Who knew hatching chicks would be such an emotional roller coaster!!

It really is a rollercoaster...every time! You'll have to help me through my hatch on Tuesday/Wednesday. ;)
