Yolk sac infection?

Pooping normal is good! Each time I've had one with an infection it really strained when it poop, and the poop never looked quite right.

i tend to go cooler than warmer
you can tell if they are too cool easier than if they are too warm

but otherwise it sounds like she is doing great and you are doing everything you can!

Here are some more pictures. Her crop seems pretty big too but that might just be because she is so small. I feel like her navel area is still a little odd but to be honest I have no freaking idea. I guess on the positive side, she doesn't seem to be regressing and is just plugging along so I don't know.

Does her crop empty at night?

You know, I would like to say probably not? I don't think so? But I really don't know that for sure. Is that something that a chick should do? I know that when they are a chicken and you look at that to see if they have sour crop but I don't know about chicks. I can check in the morning. Is it supposed to completely empty?

It should clear or mostly clear overnight.

Can you get a kitchen scale and start weighing her daily? Weigh at the same time each morning before she fills her crop.

Ok. I will check tonight to see what happens in the morning. For some reason I feel like none of them actually all the way clear but I don't know for sure. It wasn't something that I really had on my radar, I was just mostly focused on making sure that she was eating. So I'm guessing that I probably should not be doing the late night feeding? I have been trying to make sure that I do that around the time that the sun goes down, just like a last-ditch effort to get a little food into her.

Yeah I think that my husband has a kitchen scale, let me see if it has batteries in it and if not what it needs to be working.

I think I would withhold food one night to make sure it clears.
