So far we have two tiny Button Quail chicks this morning in the incubator.
The second one to hatch has a reddish blob on it's bum? Is this unabsorbed yolk sac? It is moving around in the bator with the other chick and dragging it around. When he is dried off I am going to move them both to the brooder. Should I just leave it on him? Or should I try to take it off? I don't want to take a chance of hurting him.... my instinct is telling me to leave it alone and it will dry up and fall off. Please any suggestions????
