I am sooooo excited because I am supposed to be getting 4 silkies this week. I placed an order with a local store and the told me the birds should be in the week after Easter. I'm going to call tomorrow to see if I can get an exact date because I can't wait! I have 2 Barred Plymouth Rock Pullets and 1 Ameraucana (more likely an Easter Egger) Pullet who are 12 days old and I adore them. There is just something super alluring about those extra fluffy fuzzy butts! I just hope I get at least 2 hens out of the 4 silkies I have ordered.

I thought Silkies were SOOOOOO ugly a year ago, and I just got our first over the weekend. DH is in love. I need not say more
