But, be sure to give them a way to get up to the "high" roosts - I put a rafter bar across my coop near the roof (when I added my solar battery) and they kept trying to fly up there and knocking each other off/falling to the ground. So I made a "ladder" type roost with three levels, now they hop onto the first, to get to the second, and now they all squeeze onto the top!!
