Im very aware. I let them out at sunrise every morning. They only go in the coop to sleep and lay. Ive heard this song and dance before. Its getting quite old. Rome wasnt built in a day and neither will my coop extension.

Could you add another roost? If there is height you can make a small coop more comfortable for them .

They roost on two bars about a foot and a half apart. They also like to roost in the rafters and on top of the nesting boxes

You could add a board on top of the nesting boxes to create a roost, my girls only roosts are on top of the boxes to save space and it feels roomy .

The boxes are covered in sand for easy scooping
