That's how I got into PFM. My friend won and gave me the trial membership. THEN.. WOWZERS! When the Gift Membership expired, The site wasn't the same. It was like I was driving around in a Cadillac and then I was peddling a bicycle.

I originally bought a 3 month membership so I could change my username. And then I realized how much faster the site was running. I'm on Satellite internet so it is slow anyway, but it was about 10-20 times faster without the ads. When my 3 month membership expired, I bought a year just so didn't use my limited bandwidth on ads. I'm considering doing the same thing with YouTube.

I mean, some people on here are teens, with no credit card and parents that dont really want to spend money on some online site :L
I still think Ad Blocker is best for people who dont want to spend money

Ads are one thing...but having to pay for a membership to avoid getting a virus isn't cool....and that's what those Wallyworld things are in the OP original post....

Ad blocker is great! I laugh when websites tell me to turn off my ad blocker...How silly they are
