You know you are getting old when:

I have two slippery surface walks.

1. The Little Ol' Lady Duck Walk
Feet a bit wider apart, toes pointed slightly in. Walk like you're doing a Charlie Chaplin imitation, like you have no ankles; ie, waddle like a duck.

2. The "I'm an ogre" walk
Feet/toes as above. Crouch down a bit, bending slightly at the hips and knees. Put your arms out to the sides, and walk without flexing your ankles, pivoting from your hips as you step forward. The "grrrrr, grrrrr" noises are optional.

You know you are getting old when your grandson-in-law hands you a slip of paper beneath the table, and it is a sonogram. The Princess and I are going to become great grandparents. :yesss:
We are looking forward to becoming Great Great Grandparents within 8-10 years if nature takes it course.

:clap congrats! I'm jealous! The only "greats" my grandkids seem inclined to give me are great-grandpups, and in one case, great-grandreptiles! :lau Serves me right for being such a weirdo in my misspent youth, I suppose; the pips aren't falling far from the tree. 🙄 Guess I should be glad I have no great-grandrodents, shhh! Don't give them any ideas!

I use #2 mostly!

I remember taking 3 naps one day... but it was on a Sunday, back when I was working, and during our busiest season, so I was sleep deprived.
I wasn't sleep deprived today. I slept last night but not really well. I was up for a bit at breakfast and then laid back down and finally got up at 3pm. I will not be up late tonight either. I feel like I have a low grade fever and just need to rest and let my body fight it. With age it seems like it is so much easier to catch these stinking bugs or else the bugs are getting stronger and meaner.
