You know your daughter is chicken crazy when she asks you to cook extra eggs and grits in the morning, so the chickens can have a warm breakfast too!

When my kids wanted to stop trick or treating right on halloween last year NOW and go home because we forgot to shut up the coop before we left and they were more worried somebody would eat their chickens than they were about getting a full candy bucket !

When your four year old comes home from school more excited about seeing the birds than seeing you. She won't even tell me what she does at school until she makes sure all the chickens, ducks, guineas, and assorted babies are accounted for.
