Poor you! I do like winter but with chickens it can be quite the pain. I had a Silkie die a couple days ago partly because of the cold. Even heat lamps don't work their magic all the time.

Forget the garage, if there was a hurricane my chickens would be in my house since it’s 105 years old and has survived multiple hurricanes.
