Oh my gosh!!! That sounds like something I might do when that time comes. The dogs lost their kennel last night to my chickens because the power went out so their heat lamp wasn't on in their coop and it was -30 outside.

You receive a camera as a gift, and the first thing you do is run down to take 100 pictures of your chickens. LOL

You know your addicted to chickens when...

1, the 1st thing you do upon waking in the morning is go out and check on your chickens, feeding, watering, talking to and letting them out of their pen...

2, you come back in the house and don't cook for your hubby...

3, As soon as you get your coffee and get the computer booted up the 1st thing you do is log into backyard chickens, you don't clean, cook or sew cause all you think about is chickens and getting more chickens!

When you come on to BYC and none of what the people here post as being addicted to chickens behavior seems terribly strange!!!!

And you keep saying" Wow, well I have never done THAT!" To reassure yourself that you're not REEEALLY addicted. Yet.
