Lena moved cautiously though the foot traffic. So may or the people walking, were looking at small hand held objects, not even paying attention to anything else. So strange she thought to herself. "What are those things in their hands?" She asked Charlotte.

"Um, shiny things?" Charlotte shrugged, she didn't know what they were.

Lena looked up at a sudden flutter of wings. All the pigeons took off in unison. That's when she realized they were being chased by two crows. Crows who were calling after them with, "Winged rats! Just look at all these winged rats, Solander! Where are you rats off to? To get some cheese or to get more fleas" Lena stood up at the voice of the crow. Then yelled, "Hey, Xavier! Down here, what are you doing?" Lena looked back at Charlotte and said, " They are the crow's who sleep in the oak tree with me. Want to meet them? They are the kings of mischief!"

"Sure!" Charlotte smiled, looking up at the crows.
 
Xavier heard a familiar voice. He looked around cautiously and saw little Lena down below. He smiled as he went down to talk to her. "What does it look like we were doing. We were winged rat chasing. But enough about that. What do we have here in the city? I thought you never left the park?" He said as he landed by the two squirrels. He looked and nodded at the red squirrel in greeting, then looked back at Lena. Too curious as to what her answer would be.

Solander fluttered down next to them. He cackled out laughing at Lena in the city.

Lena smiled happily at the crows. "It's a long story. But first, I want you to meet my new friend. This is Charlotte! Charlotte this is Xavier and Solander."

Xavier looked back at the red squirrel and did a flutter of wings that resulted in a formal bow. "It is truly my pleasure to make your acquaintance, Charlotte!"

Solander cackled out laughing then said seriously," Me like meet you Charlotte too."

Xavier lifted his head and said," If you would like me to translate for you, just let me know. He has bad English, but he tries. Don't you, Solander?"

Solander nodded thankfully, to Xavier.
