Charlotte grinned, Xavier was fun!
(Sorry, got no muse...)
( What does that mean?)
Xavier finally reached the top and landed on the roof.
Solander did the same. Still laughing at Lena.
Lena jumped off his back and started kissing the gravelly roof top.
(It means that I'm blank. I have no ideas on how to make the story exciting.)
Charlotte jumped off of Xavier's back, giggling. "That was fun!"
Xavier smiled and cackled out loudly. "Charlotte, you haven't had fun yet. The drop off the building, is the real reason we're up here. But I'm not too sure you could hold on tight enough. So I'm going to look around for something you can tie around you." He explained as the walked around the roof looking for anything useful.
Lena jumped up and said, " Not this squirrel! Solander better not even think about free falling with me on his back." She glared at the bird in question.
Solander cackled out and fell sideways with his laughter.
"Free falling?" Charlotte questioned.
Xavier nodded. "You'll see, just trust me on this." He found a scrap length of wire. "This is perfect!" He yelled out. He picked it up and ran back to Charlotte. He crouched down so she could get back on.
Charlotte hopped back onto Xavier's back.
Xavier passed one end of the wire to Charlotte on one side. He lifted his wings as brought the wire across his breast, then passed that end to her as well. "Twists the ends together, so you're strapped onto my back." He instructed her. Then waited until she said she was ready.
Lena sighed deeply and got on Solander's back. "Please don't do the free fall. Promise me, Solander." She pleaded.
Solander looked back at her and said, "I no do it. You my friend. We go down gently." He took off and did as he promised.
