WHAT? It ain’t even hot down south in the summer, only 105 degrees max, come to The CA valley though and get 125 max.

Makes more sense, 'cause New York really shouldn't be that high up in my opinion, but I really don't want to accept that NE got beat by Kansas and Iowa! That simply cannot happen!

That’s true, it does feel generally hotter in the shade In the Midwest and south. But get in that blazing sun out west, you’ll think you never stood next to a warmer campfire.

As I've mentioned, I'm planning on attending college in MS, but hopefully, at least the first couple summers I can come back to NE, cause I don't think I can handle the humidity! I visited my aunt and uncle in KY in the summer and ran to get in shape for XC season and I recall asking whether anyone had a scuba mask I could borrow.
