They sounded southie to me too. I can't understand him either. You remember that movie Fargo? I did nothing but swear and cuss through the first half, had to shut it off before I broke the TV. Nobody I know talks like that!!

Southerners feel the same way about 99% of movie southern accents - most a dreadful and not how any actual southerners sound outside a foghorn leghorn cartoon.
